I have worked at this club for the better part of 12 years so I can speak on it with confidence. (Danced for 10 years and now I bartend)
Overall rating: 8.5/10
Basics:
The club has a capacity of 250 people
It's the largest strip club in the area
Been around for a long time so people know it pretty well
21+ customers, can be 18+ dancer with special rules about where you can be in the club (if under 21, we require two forms of ID to audition and work)
Full nude
Full bar (liquor+beer)
We are kind of a low hustle club. Customers do expect and want to be talked to before you jump right into asking for a dance. But it usually isn't for too long.
There is money to be made in this club if you hustle right. We strive to be a fun party atmosphere on the weekends and more laid back during the week.
Dancers:
We have a variety of dancers! Everything from the girl next door to heavily modified ones.
No real dress code, but we prefer that girls look put together and wear stripper shoes. Though exceptions are made in case of injuries or other factors
(I was allowed to wear ballet slippers for the sets I was doing my pole work where I ran the risk of having a shoe fly off. Another girl was allowed to wear tennis shoes when she had a back injury)
We run anywhere from 8 to 20+ girls on night shift and 3 to 10 on the day shift. All just depends on what the dancers put in for.
Dancers put in their own schedule once a week and we post a weekly schedule for all the dancers on the door of the office. You will 99.99% of the time get every shift you put in for. Very rarely do we not give the dancers every shift they ask for.
If you are on the schedule you have to be on time for your shift or things can happen, like being sent home for the night or not allowing you to drink alcohol for the night.
Very rarely are dancers allowed to leave in the middle of a shift unless it is an emergency. We treat it as a job in the sense if you are scheduled for the 7pm-2am shift, you are required to show up on time and stay until 2am.
Dancers (21+) are allowed to drink on shift. If you drove yourself to work, we allow 3 drinks the whole night. If you decide to drink more you must turn over your keys to the bartender and get a ride or take a cab home.
If you have a ride, you are allowed to drink freely, but we will cut you off if you get too drunk. Girls who get too drunk and make scenes or other problems can be placed on drink limits. Some girls are not allowed to drink at all while working. So just be responsible with your drinking.
We aren't very keen on hiring traveling dancers, we prefer to hire people that are in town and plan to be around for awhile.
We are a college town so we do have a lot of young kids but it's offset by a lot of older gentlemen and quite a few really good regulars. Mostly blue collar clientele with a few high rollers that come in ever now and again. Overall it's a fairly good mix of people that some through.
Security:
We have a bouncer every day from 5pm until closing time. Two bouncers on Monday, Friday and Saturday nights.
We have security cameras everywhere in the bar and some on the parking lot that are recording at all times. There is a monitor in the office and we do watch the cameras a lot.
Private dances:
We have VIP area that is a larger open area where we offer $20/song private dances. This is a set price and we do not allow deal making. No undercutting on prices is allowed. If you can get someone to pay more though, that is allowed.
We have a Champagne Room which is an area where we can close the curtains around it for a "more private" experience. Price is $250 per half hour. $50 is given to the bar before you go into the room and $200 goes directly to the dancer. It's not really anything super special, but you can sell it as a more private experience since it isn't in the much more open VIP dance area.
Contact rules are kinda gray now. Legally in Oregon there isn't supposed to be any contact but we all know how that goes. We "look the other way" for most contact between you and the customer but we like to say keep it PG-13 not R rated. We will step in if the contact is getting out of control but it rarely happens because the girls know how far they can push things and are able to handle super aggressive customers. But there are times we will have talks with girls about what they are doing and why they can't do that in the club.
I like to say that (within reason) whatever the dancers boundaries are is what we will enforce. I personally didn't want customers touching me at all during a dance and when I had issues, the bouncers would back me and my boundaries up. But other girls had no problem with some touching so the bouncers aren't going to step in unless you call for them. While the private dance areas are monitored by cameras and will have people looking at them to make sure nothing super illegal is going on, we typically will not bother the dancers unless we feel the need to stop something that is blatantly illegal or we think the dancer is in any kind of danger.
Extras are absolutely not allowed in the club! While touching and some grinding is ok, making out with or doing anything that is sexual is not allowed, period. I personally have told 3 girls to pack their stuff and get out of my club after watching the camera and catching them doing extras in the dance area. Those girls are now blacklisted at our club and not even allowed back on our property. We take that very seriously and do not tolerate it in the slightest. Doing extras in the club could very easily get us shut down and then we are all out of a job so we don't mess around with girls doing extras.
Stage sets:
We are a stage heavy club and require that even if you are doing private dances/ champagne room you must make it to your stage set. I.E you must stop the dances and go do stage. Once rotation for stage is set for the night it does not change and being late to stage is a big no no.
First time late to stage is a warning, second time we take away private dances for an hour, third time you can't do private dances for the rest of the night.
So being aware of when you are on stage is a must. Planning dances around it and so fourth.
We have 3 stages and it all depends on how many girls are on which stages are used. Main stage is always running, second stage is opened with 10+ girls and third stage is usually only run on Fridays and Saturdays if we have 20+ girls.
Main stage and second stage both have stationary poles about 12ft high, third stage does not have a pole.
Fees:
Shift fee is $10 per shift you are scheduled. You pay this weekly, not night by night.
Say you schedule Monday, Tuesday and Friday night for the week. That means you owe $30 in house fees for that week.
You have until Wednesday of that week to pay the $30. If you pay after Wednesday, it is considered late and you house fee doubles and would go to $60
Get too far behind in house fees and you will be taken off the schedule.
If you want to work on a night that you aren't on the schedule, you must call management first and get the ok to come in. To add on, you pay $20 for that shift at the end of the night.
Minimum tip out to the DJ is $10 or 10% of what you make, whichever is higher
Minimum $5 to each doorman on shift.
Tip your bar servers as you use them.
Shift schedule:
Monday through Saturday:
2pm-7pm
4pm-9pm
7pm-2am
9pm-2:30am
Sunday:
6pm-2am
9pm-2:30am
You need to be in the building half hour before you shift starts and ready to go on stage at the time of you shift beginning.
If you are working the 7pm-2am shift, you need to show up at 6:30pm and be ready to go on stage at 7pm and so on with the other shift times.
If you are running late you need to call the bar and let us know. If you are consistently late for shifts you may get sent home or taken off the schedule.
If you need to call off for a shift you must call the bar and let us know. No call/no show when scheduled is a big deal and is dealt with by losing shifts or being taken off the schedule completely.
To work the weekends, you have to work one not weekend shift during the week. We don't allow just working Friday and Saturday nights.
Extra info:
Drug use is not allowed in the club at all. Even though pot is legal in Oregon, we don't allow anyone to smoke on the property. If you are caught using drugs, you will be asked to leave and potentially taken off the schedule permanently.
We have a nice area for cigarette smokers where you can also have your drinks.
There is plenty of seating at all stages and around the bar
We have awesome lighting throughout the bar
Lots of mirrors
We try to make it like a family type atmosphere. We want everyone to be happy and enjoy coming in to work. We will work with girls if they are having personal issues and try our best to help in whatever ways we can.
Overall, this is my home club. I started dancing her 12 1/2 years ago and I want the last time I ever step on stage to be at this club. I have poured blood, sweat, and tears into this place over the years and I will leave a piece of my heart here when I finally leave. Management can sometimes be hard to deal with but overall they really do care about their dancers.
