This is a 2015-2017 review. This is a strict one-way contact club. Full nude, free beer and byob. House is $10 during the week and $20 during the weekend. Dances are $20 a song and $160 for a half hour. Club takes 50% of all dance earnings. You keep all your stage money.
Customer Pool: 90% middle aged white men. Travelers frequent as well. Some college students here and there unless there's a big event then there's nothing but college students. College students tip notoriously poorly 50/52 weeks of the year. Handful of regulars that try to get away with touching their favorite girls.
Seasons: Slow season widely between November - March and May - August. Some would say it picks up in March but not during the week. The summer isn't nearly as bad as the winter, though. Big events like football games and campus events draws a big turnout but the crowds don't always have money or buy dances.
Management: There is a weekly schedule but the owner is very understanding of call offs. Just don't be a dick about it. Constantly concerned about being short on girls so dancers who cause trouble/push paying customers away are extremely unlikely to be let go. It's very hard to get fired unless you physically attack someone. Trust your own gauge of the crowd because the owner will always say it's going to be busy when everyone knows it won't be. The weekend dj is nice and pays close attention to the music each dancer likes. The weekday/afternoon dj will play you garbage unless you specifically tell him not to deviate from your set list.
Security: Bouncers are some of the best I've heard of. They are eager to kick customers out who touch the dancers. Will almost always side with the dancer in the event someone touches during a dance, even in a VIP. Refunds are rarely given.
Everyone plays favorites.
Layout: Four poles (22ft, static, brass), "eight" stages, a broken shower stage, extremely limited floor hustling, and upstairs dressing room. VIP rooms overlook stages. Stages are opened as customers file in/are expected to come and customers are always broken up between stages. This means that if there is one full stage of customers, management will call on another girl to stage and will split one stage full of customers between two stages. How long you're on stage is capped at 4 songs unless there aren't enough dancers.
You can be fined for not wearing heels or a certain type of dress the owner doesn't like, and for being late to stage. Makeup and hair done is expected. Some girls don't but they don't usually last very long. Tip out isn't mandatory but expected. Extras are kept very low key but also occur very rarely. I would advise dancers of color to steer mostly clear because the locals (largest customer base) generally prefer white girls. Travelers are the best bet, and after that are the few professionals, then college students, and finally the few locals who deign to sample something new. There is no public transport that'll get you to the club.
Feel free to ask if I missed anything.
