Okay so kittens is a love/hate place for me. It’s very similar to club Sinrock as far as clientele goes (actually I’m pretty sure all of the business guys who used to frequent Sinrock are now at kittens so ya). It is the ONLY place in Seattle where you’re treated as a true independent contractor (no schedules no dance prices etc) and for that I love it. They recommend working six hours but they honestly do not care how long you stay (I’ve popped in for 3-4 hours on dayshift before going to my regular club, made money and bounced) as long as you pay house ($65 also cheapest house in Seattle). Dance prices are all over the place- from girls giving $20 topless full contact dances to my friend selling $60 topless semi contact dances. I choose more middle of the road prices $40 or 3/$100 and have a harder time at night than during dayshift (dayshift is the shit when it’s good its really good). This is 80% a regulars and extras club. There are rooms (no cameras no minimum prices) and the house takes $50 for a 15 minute, $75? for a half, and $100 for an hour. I’ve gotten away with charging $250-300 for a fifteen but I don’t offer longer rooms than that so I can’t speak on how much you can charge. If you plan on making this your home club you will NEED regulars. The dressing room is another thing I love.
Hiring: they will technically hire anyone if you’re white/white passing. They wouldn’t hire my friend at first because they “had too many black girls” (ie 3 on shift out of 30 white fake goth girls) and she is hot as fuck. So if you’re woc plan on trying multiple times and checking back in if you really want to work there.

As of Dec 2017, all of this is 100% accurate! ^
Only things I would add:
Drugs are really heavy, and not at all subtle here, this is especially true during night shift. So anyone who's in recovery, or has a hard time being around heavy drugs would be best off sticking to day shift, or avoiding this club altogether. The owners are trump supporters, and super shitty all around, so be cautious when interacting with them, although they're rarely at the club.
As mentioned above, they're super racist. They won't play rap music, although that depends on the time, and the dj. If you tell them an artist is a seattle artist, they're more likely to play it (and not fact check said claim, oddly enough). They're harsher on strippers of color when it comes to enforcing rules as well.
The dressing room is huge-there's pretty much always some counter space for doing makeup, etc. There's a million lockers, but some are broken, so make sure you check it before using it. Don't leave your shit out-stealing isn't uncommon here. There's a smoking room in the locker room. Most people smoke cigarettes and weed in there, and some use bongs, or do dabs so discretion isn't a huge issue. The vending machine is refilled weekly, so that's cool.
Extras are pretty blunt and in the open here. That said, no one talks about what they charge, so it can be hard at first to gauge what the normal price is. I haven't been dancing long, and my hustle needs work, so I currently charge $30 for a regular (not topless) dance, and $40 for a topless dance, or 3 for $100. For vip rooms, I charge $250 for 15 minutes, and I don't typically do 30 minute rooms. Unlike the dejavu corporation, the club doesn't advertise prices, so you actually get to set your own prices. There's always a ton of strippers working, but a lot of them come in for one or two regulars then leave, so there's rarely as many strippers hustling as there is currently there, if that makes sense. Customers here (compared to the one other club I worked at, Showgirls) tend to be super direct and forward.
From a new stripper perspective, I have mixed feelings. On one hand, this club has the lowest house in seattle, and they don't back rent you, so those bad nights don't add up like they do at the corporate clubs. On the other hand, the quality of stages varies tremendously, as does the quality of outfits, makeup, hair. I'm afraid that if this is someone's first club, they might walk away with...stages that wouldn't cut it at a stage heavy club, so I would recommend any new strippers deciding to work here to either do this club, and another one, or at least visit other clubs, just to see how things are done. This is my second club, so I was lucky enough to have an idea of what things should look like, but I don't think I would have been as lucky if this had been my first and only club.
This club runs a decent instagram page, and having a stripper instagram can really help. The owners of this club, also own the bar that is legally separate from the club, but shares the same building as it, so even when other clubs in seattle are dead, there's usually still a few people here.
