Party club, definitely more of a night shift club. Management doesn't do much to enforce the rules, for dancers or customers. Bucks gets its money from alcohol sales, and they're not shy about the fact -- they're borderline famous for over serving. Most of the management's attention is directed towards that task as a result. They have the clearest walkie talkies I've heard in a while, and they use them almost exclusively to game customers behind the scenes. They won't cut customers off unless they have to, and even then, they'll still let him buy alcohol as long as it's for dancers/waitresses. As a result, a lot of the talkie talk is something along the lines of "Send so and so over to his table, have her get him to buy her a drink." Beyond that, as long as you tip them out and go through the exit process right, they don't care what you or other dancers do and pretty much just turn a blind eye to it. Fridays and Saturdays they stay open until 4am, but still stop serving alcohol by 2, so come 2am, there's usually an uproar as alcohol is cleared
VIP is common knowledge extras territory, but it's still possible to make clean money in it, especially later in the night when guys are too drunk to try anything anyways. Fridays and Saturdays they stay open until 4am, but still stop serving alcohol by 2, so come 2am, there's usually an uproar as alcohol is cleared from the table (some guys will order bulk shots and beers with the idea that they'll last them until closing, and then make a stink about how they paid for their booze, why is the waitress taking it away, etc.) Once the fuss settles down, though, the only guys left are either chill and shaking their heads or drunk beyond belief and possibly passing out in their chairs. Either way, cleaning up the remaining money is easy, both in that it's free flowing and also in that the guys aren't trying to get everything they can for the price of a dance.
Contact levels are a little higher than I was used to, but not out of the norm for Fort Worth. Seriously, what is it with Fort Worth guys and biting the dancers? Basically, expect to be dodging hands and mouths the entire time you're sitting with or dancing for a guy. Not even stage is safe. Definitely the wild west, but the money's good and easy. If you're a 7-8+, you can clean up no problem. Just be ready to be your own bouncer. House fees ranged from I think $20-60, depending on what time you came in. Tip out is $10 to the DJ, $10 to the house mom, and I think $10 to the manager. You usually bring your tip to the various people at the end of your shift with your exit pass, which needs to be signed by all of the above and the door girl before you can leave, even if it's the end of your shift.
