I've worked in all the Maine clubs (we only have 3) and PT's is by far my favorite! I'll write reviews on the others eventually but I wanted to start with them.
General Info
Topless club
Medium/Large sized
Good all around money potential - lap dance, VIP & stage
Feels safe overall
In Season - Summer
Audition
By appointment only, call ahead and schedule. When you get there and check in, they'll bring you into the office for paperwork. You'll pick your stage name (if you get hired), and whoever manager you're with will tell you the rules of the audition. You'll change, be put in rotation and dance on stage for 2-3 songs (if it's dayshift you can't pick the music but if it's later audition the DJ may let you pick the genre). They are looking more for pretty girls who have good personalities so be sure to smile a lot and be friendly to any customers there. They hire black and POC dancers, I'd say just as many WOC as white dancers. However, if you are overweight you may get told to hit the gym and come back unfortunately. (Curvy is fine) You can keep all stage tips regardless of whether you get hired or not.
If you're hired you'll be offered a position. The manager will bring you to the upstairs office and record the whole contract. You will do your contract on a computer and they're really thorough, allow you to take screenshots, and answer any questions. (They are a corporate club so they're really thorough about everything which I like.) You can pick independent contractor or employee, I really recommend independent contractor.
House Fees & Tipout
Check-in time is when you're on the floor and ready
$2 at open 12pm ($10 on weekends)
$20 12:01-4
$30 4-7
$40 7-9
Club closes 3am. To be honest I don't usually come in later than this so I don't remember what the house fees are past this point. I've never paid more than $40 personally. If you work four 6 hour shifts in a week, you get a voucher card for free house, which is nice.
No tipout required for anyone. (You are not allowed to tip the managers/VIP directors) Obviously it's standard to tip the DJ, I usually throw them $10-20 depending how my night went.
Stages
Main stage - in the center, next to the bar. The pole is static, super tall, goes all the way up to the 2nd story. (There's tall ceilings and the VIP rooms are in a "loft" kind of setup will elaborate on this later.) Two VIP rooms up there overlook the stage, so customers up there can "make it rain." It's a rotation, you will be up there for 2 songs if there's a lot of girls, or 3 songs if it's slower. DJs make it clear that nobody has "their song" but are happy to play requests or any genre that you want. If it's really really slow dayshift and a customer wants to take you for a dance, they don't mind you getting your money there instead of going on stage. Otherwise you're expected to not miss your stage. They will pull you off rotation for VIP rooms, but not for lap dances or anything else.
Satellite stage - There's a small satellite stage (also static pole) on the other side of the club, you can hop on there if you want (money potential). If it's really busy you have to do a set on the satellite after your main stage set. (usually on the weekend nights)
VIP Seating area - There's a small area on the main floor for groups who book it in advance, that is next to the main stage. It's a couch area with a spinning pole. This doesn't really get used unless a group is there and spending
Earning Potential - If you're a stage girl, you will do REALLY good at times. I've seen stage girls here make $100-500 a set. Especially on the weekends or even weekday nights. You shouldn't rely on it alone, but the potential is definitely there.
Lap Dances
Lap dance area is semi-private. Lap dances are $25 per song, and there's also a $5 entry fee (for the customer) they give him a wrist band. The club takes $5 per dance.
You make your own rules as far as touching goes, I allow only minimal touching unless we go upstairs to VIP.
After done stacking dances I ask the customer for a tip, staff is not strict about that here thankfully, and usually they do.
Get your $$ upfront because they make it pretty clear that that's your responsibility in the contract. I will take $25 for the 1st song and then stack from that point on but I always collect once the total gets to $100.
There's also floor dances for $10 (you keep all of that), but nobody does them. Lol
VIP Rooms
There's several different types of VIP rooms, the fees to rent them are $200 $300, $400 and $500 depending on which room you get. (The $500 room is a huge party room with spinning poles)
On top of that you make your own prices. It goes by the half hour or the hour. So if a dude gets a half hour and decides he wants another, he's paying for 2 half hours.
I start at $800 and $1k but will negotiate down as needed, I've never went lower than $300 and $500 however.
Dressing Rooms etc
The club has several dressing rooms, one of them has a shower. No fee to claim lockers, you just have to fill out a form for your locker.
There's also a full kitchen, the club lost their food license lol but you can use the kitchen if you bring food from outside of work, complimentary coffee.
The Ramada across the street gives a discounted rate to dancers, $70~ average a night.
Staff
The staff is all great, I don't get involved with drama or anyone's business and have never had a problem, they're all nice and do their jobs. The DJs, bouncers and managers, are all pretty great. There's 2 women managers which is nice!
The club has a little shop on the inside near the entrance, PT's Lingerie, the owner Kelly is so sweet. They sell outfits, industry underwear, accessories, garters, fishnets, Pleasers, hairspray, pretty much anything you need. Some regulars/customers will buy something for you, take you "shopping" lol if you convince them
Overall.... I love this club. The weekends can get busy and overwhelming, but overall it's a great environment and great money. Highly recommend it out of all the clubs in the area.
